Natural Pain Management – A Quick Video with Some Helpful Ideas

Natural Pain Management: Video Overview

In this discussion of natural pain management, Amandha Vollmer (ADV) explores pain as a signal and explains why she prefers to investigate what may be contributing to it rather than focusing only on suppressing the sensation. She distinguishes injury-related, inflammatory and nervous-system pain, then discusses acetaminophen and prescription pain medications through her broader root-cause framework.

Amandha develops the discussion through a client example involving ongoing lower-back pain. She describes lifestyle changes she recommended alongside rest and hydration, then moves into topical magnesium and DMSO-containing creams. From there, she discusses castor oil packs, heat, lavender, meadowsweet and yarrow before moving into turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cayenne, black cumin seed oil and MSM.

The later sections broaden into preventive approaches for recurring pain. Amandha discusses DMSO, acupuncture, massage, hydrotherapy, homeopathy and several botanical preparations. She also addresses fibromyalgia, coffee enemas and structural pain before sharing strong criticism of surgery and conventional medical care. The video concludes by returning to DMSO and the importance Amandha places on combining pain relief with approaches intended to address the type and source of pain being experienced.

Important Context & Safety

Educational context: This video presents Amandha Vollmer’s personal framework and experience with natural pain management. She treats pain as information about what is happening in the body and encourages viewers to distinguish inflammatory, mechanical and nervous-system pain before choosing an approach. Her discussion includes hydration, dietary changes, magnesium, DMSO, castor oil, essential oils, botanical medicine, homeopathy and lifestyle practices. She also describes individual cases and personal experiences involving back pain, migraines, endometriosis and fibromyalgia.

The recording contains stronger treatment claims involving acetaminophen, colloidal silver, coffee enemas, DMSO used in a neti pot and homeopathic preparations. It also includes broad criticism of surgery and conventional treatment. These remain Amandha’s statements and interpretations from the recording rather than universal pain-management recommendations.

Introduction: Understanding Pain, Root Cause, and Conventional Painkillers

Amandha: Pain. Everyone at some point in their life has pain: aches and pains, serious pain, pain from injury, pain from inflammation, nervous system pain. There’s no escaping some level of pain. But how do we deal with our pain? In a way that is not doing further damage to ourselves, and also in a way that is listening to the message that the pain is telling us so that we can address root cause and why the pain is there.

Amandha: For some people, they know why the pain is there. They’ve had an injury, a fall. They have lumbar pain. They have spinal pain, they have narrowing of the spine. They have arthritis. They’ve been diagnosed with something that helps them understand where the pain is coming from.

Amandha: But I mean, on a deeper level that, oh, I have rheumatoid arthritis, so I have pain. Well, let’s look at that further rather than drugging your body. and suppressing the pain mechanism. Why not look at what the reasons the underlying physiological reasons of the pain really are? And, you know, in arthritis, in say, osteoarthritis, most of the pain is coming from inorganic minerals and salts that are sitting inside the joint cavity, causing crystallization and causing localized inflammation.

Amandha: Pain having micro crystallized minerals sitting inside your joints is a root cause, not I have arthritis. You see the difference looking at the underlying reasons for why you would have a nervous system pain. It could be because you’ve had an actual physical injury to a nerve, but it also could be because you are not feeding and fueling your body properly.

Amandha: for the nerve to repair, which would mean to increase your fatty acid intake and your B vitamin complement, specifically B12 to assist the repair of those nerves.

Amandha: That’s what I mean by getting to root cause of pain. I was almost going to talk about mental, emotional pain because it can present physically as well.

Amandha: But I don’t have a lot of time in this video, so I’m going to just focus more on the solutions that I typically offer people who are in different amounts or different levels of pain, and some of the options that are available for you that you can use to deal and I just wanna touch on some of the drugs that are used specifically acetaminophen, which is commonly known as Tylenol.

Amandha: That particular drug is every single drug has to be processed through the liver. This particular drug will decrease the glutathione antioxidant that is part of the liver P450 system, which is an enzyme. It gets more complicated than that, but basically it actually does liver damage to take that.

Amandha: And it’s also compounded when alcohol is in the picture as well.

Amandha: And any other liver stimulating product or liver-damaging product like coffee or pop. A lot of people are taking these as without question. And don’t understand the level of inflammation and damage that it does to the very mechanisms which are the organ systems that help to move the inflammation markers that cause a lot of pain out of your body through filtering the blood.

Amandha: And if you keep damaging the very organ that’s trying to filter the blood of the inflammation markers, say interleukins for example., then how are you going to get out of pain?

Amandha: All it really is doing is masking the signal to your body that you’re in pain and that has a few other repercussions because if you, pain is a signal telling you to stop, to not do that thing.

Amandha: Now, I know we live in a modern world, we can’t always stop. We don’t have that luxury, and I understand why people go to these specific types of drugs to just push through it. However, that’s not ever really dealing with what’s going on and can exacerbate the problem because then they’re not resting, allowing the body to recuperate and that can make the pain increase because whatever that specific issue is, it’s going to continue to fester and become worse bandaid solutions are, there are supposedly to be there for a temporary fix. It’s temporary to move to the next station of your, you know, linear existence and get to the right place for you to then properly fix it okay.

Amandha: But to continually mask things, like I had a gentleman in yesterday who’s in a whack of pain and he went to the doctor and he did have a fall, but he also had a previous disc degeneration that was diagnosed and the doctor wouldn’t give him a prescription pain med, which I’m glad because those are very addictive and they have a whole level of other issues even coming off of the pain pills.

Amandha: Horrible and very hard. You get rebound pain from those and there’s a psychological addiction to them. Horrible. I have a couple of patients right now. I’m just trying to get off of these drugs and it’s terrible and the doctors don’t tell you that very much about that. They don’t really give you full disclosure that you’re going to be struggling with these now getting off pain pills,, and still have the pain that you went in for in the first place.

Amandha: It really doesn’t. Now I understand you get wisdom teeth out. You have a surgery, whatever you’re going to be on specific pain pills for, to get you through that. But as limited time as you possibly can. And then some of the things I’m gonna mention today, you can employ and also use preventatively before you say you go under the knife and these kinds of things to get through the repair faster.

Amandha: So the pain. But, so this gentleman went to the doctor and he walks out with a recommendation to take six Tylenol every day for his pain. That’s what he’s told to do. And I said, okay, well, is he, did he give you any other suggestions? Like maybe you need some hot and cold therapy on that side. Maybe you need some massage therapy.

Amandha: Maybe you need to see a chiropractor. Maybe you need to see another type of practitioner to help you repair that tissue. Did he, what did he suggest? That was it. That’s what he walked out with. And I’m in shock, but at the same time it’s expected, cuz this is what I hear every single day, these kinds of stories from really doctors that they either don’t know what they’re talking about or they’re just so limited in their education that they don’t have any other knowledge.

Amandha: So that’s all they have to offer you. So I spoke with this gentleman for a good lengthy period of time, and that’s in, in part what’s triggered my talk today because I really realized how many people were in a lot of pain cause my pain cream flies out of the shelf.

Amandha: And but you know, besides just even using a cream, what you can do more so internally to deal with that.

Case Example: Lifestyle, Hydration, Sleep, Magnesium, and DMSO Creams

Amandha: Okay, so, so anyway, I said please don’t take the Tylenol and what I told him to do., well first of all, he is smoking cigarettes. He is drinking coffee. He is obese. He is got a lot of dietary challenges, let’s say. So he’s eating just a typical, you know, sad diet.

Amandha: He’s not drinking hardly any water.

Amandha: So I said to him, look, if you really wanna be out of pain, you wanna shift the way. You wanna stop adding toxins into your body because you want to let the, you really wanna fast A lot of the times, if you can fast and let the body heal you’ll see animals who are in pain or in injury or disease.

Amandha: Oftentimes it will fast because it will rest a lot of the organs. That are involved in digestion, including the liver, so that they can go after and do other things for the body. So it’s not so, used up in just assimilating food., and that’s fine. Or they’ll go to an herb, they’ll eat an herb in the wild, and they’ll naturally want to go to something that will alleviate their pain.

Amandha: Or they’ll go into water. They’ll sit in water, and they won’t get out. They’ll be in water for many hours. These kinds of things. These are some of the ways in nature that we see animals managing their own pain. We’ve lost a lot of our innate knowledge on what to do. You know, when you bang your arm you naturally rub it.

Amandha: You wanna rub it, you want, you immediately wanna increase circulation to that area. You wanna soothe that area with a little bit of heat from your hand. Like you, you know what you do immediately when you’re in pain, you grab it right?

Amandha: And we have our own mechanisms for healing, even through a lot of our, the end nerves in our hands.

Amandha: That’s what Reiki and therapeutic touch are. So we automatically go to, to touch it when it’s hurt. Okay, so there are natural things like that. So I suggested to him he drink, you know, three to four liters of pure distilled water a day. Distilled water is pure water. It’s actually the water we’re meant to drink.

Amandha: The water were meant to drink is the water that falls from the sky.

Amandha: And unfortunately we’ve damaged our beautiful earth to such a degree that we cannot drink that water directly from the sky. And what would happen in indigenous cultures, for example, or you’ll see in indigenous cultures, they will collect rain water in large leaves and they will drain it off into

Amandha: a cup, and that’s the water of the drink. And that is distilled water. So when the sun evaporates the water, it leaves the salts behind its pure H two O goes up into the clouds and then falls as rain. That’s the water we’re meant to drink, and that’s the healthiest water for you. So I suggested he began that immediately to flush out all the interleukins, C-reactive protein, all the molecules of inflammation causing the pain.

Amandha: Now, inflammation is important because it is opening up the cells to allow for repair. Short-term inflammation is important, but it does cause pain because think about it, you’re actually opening up areas that are normally not like that, and that is going to cause the nerves to give a feedback loop that is going on.

Amandha: And really it’s a signal to rest or to apply something like ice to maybe tone it down a little. Or even the opposite to add more heat and help it along faster. That’s why we use a lot of ice. We use a lot of heat and heating pads that relieve pain and people are well aversed to this as well. I said to him to, cause he couldn’t sleep.

Amandha: And I actually developed a new product that helps people sleep through their pain. So a lot of people can’t kind of catch up on the healing because they’re not getting the restful sleep to actually heal. So they’re not, they’re tossing and turning all night and they’re just not getting resolved.

Amandha: Right. So I had two pain creams and transformed one of the formulas. One is called Painoid Dream Cream and I’ve changed that formula to this one now, which I call goodnight dream cream. And I dunno if you can see it there. So what I’ve added into this is DMSO, gaba, B6, and melatonin. It also has the, what I call hemp, but it’s actually CBD St. John’s wort and arnica and the magnesium is in there as well. And two and a few different types of sulfur and because the DMSO is in the product, it will carry those molecules that are in the cream right into your bloodstream so you’ll get a more instantaneous effect. And these are what I’ve put in this helps with both sleep and pain.

Amandha: I’m getting really good results from it. I have a couple of people who’ve given me feedback that it worked very well for them and they slept through the night.

Amandha: So he, I did that for him with the magnesium. I’m out of my large right now, but I only have a small here with the ease magnesium.

Amandha: Magnesium is a huge helper for pain. And I have him spray. So on his lower back, he’s spraying that twice a day, morning and night. Quite liberally. And then he’s gonna apply the goodnight Dream Cream before bed.

Amandha: And then he is gonna do the super cream. This is one of my top sellers, the Pain Away Super Cream with DMSO.

Amandha: He’s gonna apply that during the day because he can’t be sleepy during the day so that will help him manage the pain. He works a loader, so he’s, you know, in a machine all day so that will help him with that. Then I had, I asked him to please just stop eating pro-inflammatory foods and drinks.

Amandha: So if he could just eat fruits and vegetables that are as fresh and raw as possible. No dairy, no meat, no grains. Well he can have a few grains, but definitely not wheat or high gluten grains because those are pro-inflammatory grains.

Amandha: And if he does, he has to pre-soak them because it has phytic acid on it and washed that phytic acid away.

Amandha: And no pop coffee.

Amandha: And so he was smoking cigarettes, so Because asking him to quit smoking right now really wasn’t the best timing, I asked him if he could find just pure tobacco, not a brand. Because the brands have a lot of chemicals on them, and that adds to the body burden of toxic material that the liver has to filter out.

Amandha: And that is going to prolong his pain. So he’s gonna look and to see if he can find just a pure leaf tobacco and just switch to that in the meanwhile. And and then I gave him a little bug in his ear. If he wants to live a little longer, he might wanna quit that. You know what I’m saying? Because I find a lot of people have a smoke screen about their addictions.

Amandha: They don’t want to, they don’t wanna know what they’re doing wrong. In some ways, they don’t because they’re afraid to feel guilty about what they’ve been doing. So it’s okay. It’s okay to feel a bit of healthy shame that he’s been doing something that’s hurting yourself. But we have to push through that and get to the other side of it and stop the behaviors that are hurting ourselves.

Amandha: ideally baby steps with some, and some go a little more intensely. But anyway, he’s gonna go off coffee slowly because if you go off coffee too fast, you can get headaches and so forth. Okay? So that’s gonna work for him. And then I said, so do this.

Castor Oil, Botanical Teas, Turmeric, and Joint Pain

Amandha: Change the diet. I told him about castor oil packs as well.

Amandha: That’s another thing that can be done for pain. So he can put castor oil over his painful back and put a heating pad on that and do that for at least 20 minutes.

Amandha: And he can put also what I have here is lavender essential oil, which also does help with pain. This is one I decant myself. Sorry, I don’t if it’s gonna show.

Amandha: But Lavender essential oil.

Amandha: Lavender does help with pain and inflammation.

Amandha: There’s a lot of essential oils that do that.

Amandha: But you want to give it in a way that it can really penetrate quite deeply. And if you mix it with the castor oil in the pack, you’ll get it in even more further into the tissue.

Amandha: So that’s something he’ll do maybe later. But I’m starting him with baby steps cause he’s kind of new to the holistic ideology and the lifestyle. So I also suggested there are botanical medicines that he can make as a tea, and I make one particular one. This is for pain and fever management. It’s got meadowsweet and yarrow in it, and meadowsweet and yarrow both grow locally around here, around my area and has multiple positive effects.

Amandha: The whole point with meadowsweet is that it’s a salicylate, so it’s a aspirin family plant. So aspirin comes from a tree, really. And that it’s similar. It’s a similar family to the meadowsweet. So it’s like giving an aspirin to yourself.

Amandha: Aspirin has its own problems. It has blood-thinning properties.

Amandha: if you wanna thin your blood properly, you use cod liver oil or fish oil or any omega-3 fatty acid, even if there’s a vegan source of that.

Amandha: And magnesium and vitamin C, that’s how you balance out the blood. If you have thick, you know, viscous blood, which is often a sign, often you’ll get pain from thick, viscous blood as well, because a blood was not moving.

Amandha: But that tea can be drunk, you know, a few cups a day and that will take the edge off the pain. It might not get rid of everything, but it’ll help you to be functional. So there’s that. And then I also make one for specifically more joint pain arthritic pain, and it’s called Joint Care Pepper Rub.

Amandha: I have to make a new batch of it. This is just as small that I have right now. And in it has MSM sulfur again which I like to use a lot, which is a derivative of DMSO and this green tea in there which is anti-inflammatory, cayenne pepper is huge. The capsaicin is very helpful for pain the Castor oil in there as well.

Amandha: So it’s gonna take that deep into the tissues and black cumin seed oil, pine oil. So I do have a lot of different oils in there that will help nourish the tissues, the localized tissues. And so I do get a lot of good feedback from that as well. It takes the edge off oftentimes enough that they can move their hands better and move, you know, bend better with the knees and that kinda thing.

Amandha: Curcumin as well.

Amandha: So turmeric is another natural pain killer that deals with the inflammation specifically.

Amandha: So this is very much to do with pain from inflammation. If you have another type of pain, like a pressure pain from say blood engorgement or tumor pain or if you have a nerve type of pain, the turmeric doesn’t really do very much.

Amandha: It’s more for inflammatory muscle or bone pain, but it’s an inflammatory aspect. So this is a curcumin complex that I have and I also sell just turmeric that you can put into pills or you can use in make your own sort of pill from it.

Amandha: So that’s a hot, that’s a real heavy, potent one.

Amandha: If you just take the turmeric, it’s a bit different and it could have a increasing effect on you. But ideally, if you’re gonna do it like that, you need to add black pepper and ginger because they form a synergy and work more effectively together.

Amandha: So those three are buddies, our partners, and you can make ginger tea. You can drink ginger tea throughout the day. Add a bit of black pepper in that if you wanna beef it up, or cayenne pepper to deal with pain. Very. Of course we have the DMSO on my website yummy mummy emporium.org. You can go to the DMSO section.

DMSO, Preventive Pain Strategies, Black Cumin, and MSM

Amandha: You can watch my DMSO video, and you can read my protocols for how to use DMSO for certain conditions. I have a dental injury that happened with a laser that penetrated through my sinus. And when that happened, it created scar tissue and microorganisms gravitate towards scar tissue because it’s dead tissue and they want to naturally, in life, in nature, they wanna break that down.

Amandha: So I’ll ev occasionally I will get a buildup, like if I eat any sugar at all, that could trigger the growth of microorganisms there. And I will get pain that starts in the sinus and get a full-blown migraine that goes full body. It’s my whole defense system trying to figure that out and trying to get that under control so that becomes problematic for me.

Amandha: What I do if I start to feel this happening is I take a neti pot and I make a saline, and I put DMSO in it, and I actually lavage the sinus directly and the DMSO takes care of the microorganism. and I’m good. So it’s a preventative way. So you also wanna think preventatively with pain. If you get something that’s cyclical, something that’s affected by the barometric pressure, like migraines or headaches or menstrual type of pain that you know is coming, you can do preventative things like acupuncture, massage.

Amandha: Certain types of hydrotherapy treatments, deep breathing, grounding. I mean, there’s so many ways to be anti-inflammatory. Like they did a study, more recent study that just showed people going out barefoot, standing on grass, standing on the earth for 15 minutes a day decreased their inflammation.

Amandha: A remarkable amount. I think it was like 30 to 40% or something like that. So just doing simple things like this can help you manage pain and inflammation specifically. Okay. Black cumin seed oil is another one. This is very, I’ve done a video on rheumatoid arthritis you can find on YouTube. The black cumin seed oil will deal with a lot of different types of pain, but it’s more, it’s notoriety is for rheumatoid arthritis and a.

Amandha: arthritic-type pain. It has a certain molecules in the oil that are has that affinity for the joint and assists that process. So, and that’s, I believe, one teaspoon, one to two times a day of that. There’s also wearable medical jewelry that can help with pain and inflammation. This is Amber and I have an adult Amber.

Amandha: Just one sec. I have a client and I’m just gonna tell her that I’m almost there for her. I’m trying to, I’m so busy these days that I don’t get to my videos, so, it’s, yeah, it’s tricky now.

Amandha: All right. So that’s good. Anyway.. So the amber is worn on the skin and our skin is a two-way street. So if you wear it on your skin, you can actually absorb the succinic acid from the amber. And what that does is it upregulates part of the cell in the mitochondria that will move metabolism forward.

Amandha: And help you again, process all those molecules that create inflammation out faster. So it’s something you can wear either at night if you’re sleeping or you know, I know a lot of golfers that like it further., their elbow issues,. Okay. So then back to sulfur and repairing the actual tissues themselves, which is really what you wanna do.

Amandha: I have the happy body sulfur. So the sulfur crystals. It’s MSM sulfur. Okay. And that’s one teaspoon twice a day. And that helps with all kinds of pain. And, but mostly what it does is it’s going to assist the repair of whatever it is, the tissue damage so you can get past the pain faster.

Amandha: Also have one that can work during pain.

Homeopathy, Colloidal Silver, and Botanical Pain Remedies

Amandha: As a substitute for, say, Tylenol, aspirin and these kinds of things. And it’s called Apo-Dolor. And this is a Pekana product. It’s a spagyric remedy. It’s an ancient remedy, actually from around the 1500s, and it’s a homeopathic combination. Spagyric is a certain preparation associated with Paracelsus.

Amandha: And so there’s a bunch of different ones in, for example, Aconite, Brioni Gelsemium Piper Meth. Se Carpus, Pella, these types of botanicals prepared this way at, you can put it right in your mouth if you’re desperate. You don’t have a glass of water other, otherwise you put it in water and just drink it.

Amandha: And that’s 15 drops, two to three times a day or as needed for pain. The thing is, with Tylenol and aspirin, you can overdose, which is very dangerous, especially for children. It’s easy to mistake when you gave a dose and you could give too many doses, or the Tylenol’s not working anymore.

Amandha: It’s not touching the pain, but you’re still giving doses to hopefully deal with it so you don’t have anything else, and that puts ’em into overdose and danger. So with these things, you can’t overdose. And so they’re way safer on every possible level and they don’t suppress anything. They actually help you heal it and process it and move it into the state you wanna be in.

Amandha: I pulled out colloidal silver because Some people have pain in the throat area from say like strep throat and colloidal silver will take care of that very nicely. You don’t need to do anything else., just colloidal silver will heal the strep. You don’t need antibiotics. You take half of a ounce of colloidal silver or like five, six sprays in the mouth and swallow.

Amandha: And you do that a few times a day and ideally as many passes and washes through the throat as you can is the best. Okay I think I went through, oh, I have just a couple of other homeopathics. Homeopathic re remedies are chosen more specifically, like if you have a pain, you can go online and you can research homeopathic medicine for menstrual pain, homeopathic medicine for headaches, homeopathic medicine for low back pain, whatever the pain is, fibromyalgia, et.

Amandha: You will pull up if you find a good list of a bunch of different remedies and with their descriptions, and read the description and find the one that’s matching your symptoms as close as possible. And try that and usually try it if it’s physical in the lower potency. So 6C, 12C, 30C or even the X’s, which are lower if it’s more of a mental, emotional pain, a stress or trauma like that usually go higher, 30 or higher.

Amandha: So 200 ch is usually used for those. I do have Homeocan makes a blend for headaches and migraines, and so that’s there’s pellets in there. And then there’s one for arthritic pain as well. That’s Homeocan for that. So that’s sort of in a pinch. You have it in your pocket, you’re out. You wanna just, you’re not feeling good.

Amandha: You can just melt a few pellets under your tongue and use the homeopathic prescription for that there are a lot of botanicals for pain and they, ideally, some will work fast and some are a buildup. So I’m just gonna read a couple for you so you get the idea of it. And there’s some other good to have on hand so you can, you’re not in a panic when you’re in pain.

Amandha: You really wanna prep that. You have some of these things with you. Most people know about Arnica, Arnica really helps with bruising type of. If you’ve banged or bruised or fallen, that will actually stop internal bleeding, which is huge. But also it will deal with the pain of that type of contusion.

Amandha: Okay.

Amandha: But then you have different pain of say well, actually one of the best ones, which I wanted to mention for engorged. Like I had a woman who had endometriosis and she was just full of blood. Like, and she had so much pain, right?

Amandha: Cause that was an engorgement. And so Ahis, melaka, homeopathic allowed all the blood to drain, to go and to heal that.

Amandha: Just like a couple of doses of ahis 30 ch. So what that did is it removed the material that was pressure, giving pressure and causing that type of pressure pain. So that was the one I just wanted to mention there.

Amandha: But Arnica used also as a homeopathic, but it’s also used topically as a botanical.

Amandha: So there’s different levels that you can use Arnica on. agrimony is a big one for headaches. Migraine specifically. chamomile is also very helpful for pain, also is a relaxant. Cinquefoil is interesting and it grows all around here, so I’ve been doing a lot of wildcrafting. At Cinquefoil, it kind of looks like a marijuana leaf, but it’s not

Amandha: It’s it’s got five points, kinda looks like a hand and it makes little cute yellow flowers. Elder, of course we know elder for colds and flus and these kinds of things, but it also helps with pain. So you can make this as a, not a true tea, more like a tisane and like they’re sains, they’re not tea. Tea is a plant, but these are tisanes and so they are infusions or decoctions of that botanical remedy and you wanna break the cell open.

Amandha: get the constituents out. And that’s the medicine. So that’s why you usually wanna simmer it with distilled water on the stove, about 20, 30 minutes, strain away the material and drink that. And you can sweeten it if you need to, but that’s the way to get the medicine out of that. You can also take obviously, and capsules and you take the entire plant, but.

Amandha: There’s lots of ranges of ways to take it, but that’s usually the easiest way to go about it. meadowsweet, as we talked about, cuz it has aspirin like qualities and you definitely don’t wanna take it. If you are taking aspirin, you don’t take the two together. Mullein Mullein grows all around here.

Amandha: It’s a very tall plant. The mullein leaf is very anti-inflammatory and soothing, and the flour itself is used famously in ear oil, so you can infuse the flowers, which I make in olive oil with garlic, also very anti-inflammatory as well. And put that in the ears. Treat both ears. Nettles. Nettles have high vitamin C, so it increases your defenses, it increases your white blood cell activity.

Amandha: If there’s something to do with pain of infection, it’ll really help along that line. St. John’s wort is one that’s in both my pain creams that’s used for pain from nervous system pain. It’s very specific, has an affinity for the nerves. St. John’s wort also helps with depression for the same reason that it affects the nervous system, which is.

Amandha: Your brain, you know, is part of your functional nervous system.

Amandha: Wild lettuce, wild lettuce is a bit tricky because it can give, be kind of dopey, make you kind of dopey, but it does work for pain.

Amandha: I mean, so do the drugs, they, the opioids, they make you very, dopey I consider this opioid-like as well, so you have to be careful with addiction, even with some botanicals that will do that.

Amandha: Even the poppy, the California poppy, it’s opioid based. So you really want to use those things just limited as an alternative to any other. wood betony is another one grows around here that can be used for pain. So there are lots of options. This is one of my favorite botanical books.

Amandha: This is Matthew Wood, The Book of Herbal Wisdom: Using Plants as Medicines.

Amandha: I have quite a few of his books. I could, I know I could go on, it’s not totally comprehensive, but it’s what I have more on hand and what I’ve at this stage in my journey to help people through pain, mainly we get pain under control with lifestyle changes and increasing the water. You wouldn’t believe how much that helps with pain.

Amandha: And reducing the types of damaging foods you have to think about what are you doing, what are you putting in your mouth, and what is a body going to have to do to process that? And if you can think along those, More preventatively, then you can heal a lot faster through any type of pain syndrome.

Fibromyalgia, Coffee Enemas, and Detoxification Discussion

Amandha: The fibromyalgia pain is a bit different. All that muscle tension, all that tightness is mainly the nervous system is all collapsed. And there are so many levels of toxicity that you have, like failure levels of cleansing and cleaning out the areas. So that type of pain does respond very well to the magnesium, but it really much depends on how willing that individual is going to detox their body.

Amandha: Cause that’s really the key. And, you know, I harp on and on about coffee enemas. People who say coffee enemas are dangerous or shills, honestly,, they’re not dangerous. Okay. What they actually were originally used for in the war was to help with pain. So I even suggested to the gentleman who came in, I said, you know, if you really want a cheap and easy way to deal with your pain, especially lumbar is to run a couple coffee enemas, or maybe I said you might wanna go.

Amandha: He has also lots of problems. He has colon problems., you name it. And arthritis, like, it was a bit of a mess, but I said, you know, you could go get a couple of colonics done for you just to do the colon part and then do the coffee enemas to clean up the liver. Cause it’s a liver cleanse, not a colon cleanse.

Amandha: And so he was interested in that. I said, once you get over the idea of that, the The mental blocks that you have about it and you actually do it, you realize how easy it is, how many different ways that you can use enemas for healing yourself. That it was an old time way of people taking charge over their health.

Amandha: And the effects that you can get from it are very powerful. So not to be underestimated, and I’m just because people. You know, don’t like to talk about pp poo. I do a lot, so, I’m not afraid to say the truth even if you don’t like me for it. So that’s just who I am. But yeah, that it works.

Amandha: So I’m just gonna tell you what works and try it and you’ll really get, again, you’ll get the toxicity level, you’ll get the glutathione up. That’s a man, a master antioxidant. You’re gonna clean that up. You’re gonna clean up your liver and you’re gonna clean up your blood. And when you do that, the body can heal and deal with whatever the complaint is.

Mechanical Pain, Surgery, and Medical-System Critique

Amandha: Now if you have a mechanical complaint, okay, please, I just wanna urge you please understand the medical establishment is. Co-opted by a, an industry, they’re not there for your best outcome. You must understand that if you are going to doctors. Okay. I don’t go to doctors. I wouldn’t, I don’t put myself in positions like that.

Amandha: But this gentleman, for example, what they want to do with him is they want to, of course, cut him open, remove things and add metal into his back because they don’t seem to believe or understand that the body can heal itself. And he said, he even said to me, he said, I fell and it was really bad. And now it’s starting to get a little better.

Amandha: and I said, well, yeah. So right there. You do understand the body has mechanisms to heal itself, right? It, that’s, you cut yourself, it, it closes, it heals. The body knows how to do that innately. It doesn’t need anything to do it other than your nutrition and water and basic things of life. Sunlight and breathing the air.

Amandha: And he’s like, yeah, I get that. And he said, So let me warn you that any any person I’ve ever had a conversation with that has had a surgery on any level, whether they’ve added parts to them or not, regrets the surgery, okay. They regret the surgery because they have now ongoing pain that’s new that they can’t control and they can’t deal with because they like, even with my injury, okay, I regret doing that because he screwed up and now I have this scar tissue that’s taking me a long time to get ahold of.

Amandha: And. and I’m gonna begin a course of systemic enzymes to work on the scar tissue. Which is intensive, you know? But here we are and then so you, you still sometimes have the original problem still, and then you have a secondary problem of what they’ve given you. So it’s ridiculous.

Amandha: When I see people like that, it’s very hard to deal. So if you can prevent that and just say no, say I trust my body and I’m gonna apply the proper nutrition in the water and the lifestyle and do this naturally, you get way further ahead. Way further ahead than you would. And even if you have a little bit of recurring pain here and there, that’s nothing compared to the people who are like, wish they’d never had those knee replacements or hip replacements or other bionic parts put into.

Amandha: You know, and it’s like they’re so happy to do it. And now just with the common break they put in metal, I find it just absurd. The body will heal a bone as well. Like, so just know what’s happening in that industry and just go in with your guard up. Like I get people coming to me all the time. They’ve been to every possible specialist.

Amandha: They’ve wasted their time and energy traveling here and., they don’t get the answers they want, and they, if they do fall under the guise of thinking that they doctor actually knows what they’re talking about, they end up in a worse position than they were not better, not healed, not resolved, just degraded further.

Amandha: And it’s just not worth it. So just if you’re gonna get some opinion or you’re going in for testing or whatnot, be aware of it. Okay? And and you know, do your research. There’s lots of amazing articles or natural methods for pain. Like do that work, do take, turn off the TV and do that work because you are gonna have that for the rest of your life and we’re going to face pain at some point.

Closing: Research, DMSO, and Nerve Pain Support

Amandha: And you wanna know how to deal with that naturally. And that’s a really good tool to have in your tool belt. Okay, I’ve left my patient waiting long enough. It’s the only time I could do it today, so I just went for it anyway, my website again is yummy mummy emporium.org.

Amandha: And I’ll put this up on YouTube.

Amandha: And if you’re on YouTube, please like, subscribe, leave a nice comment, not a nasty comment thank you. And share, you know, with somebody who’s having some pain issues you know, get them on DMSO and just a note on dms. Yes, it’s a painkiller. It’s a great painkiller, but it doesn’t touch all pain. And it’s very important if you have, say, nerve pain, that you combine the DMSO with the protocols that help nerves.

Amandha: So St. John’s wort, for example, B vitamins, for example, magnesium, these kinds of things because it carries in small molecular weight. Molecules, right? Small molecules that will send through the dermis, through the skin, goes right in. So you wanna deliver what is going to heal it to the area, not just using the DMSO plain.

Amandha: You won’t get the same positive effect. You’ll get some effect, but you won’t get the effect you’re really wanting. So just a little note on that. Alright, thanks for your time. I appreciate it, and we’ll talk again soon. Bye for now.
